Charleston, WV (WOAY) West Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash along Interstate 77 that happened early this morning.  Troopers with the Turnpike Detachment responded just before 6:50 a.m. to the southbound lanes near the 95-mile marker after reports that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.  When troopers arrived on scene, they determined the female pedestrian had died as a result of the crash.
