Rhode Island governor to sign measure legalizing marijuana

Gov. Dan McKee scheduled a bill signing ceremony at the State House for Wednesday afternoon. It will legalize the sale and possession of up to 1 ounce of cannabis for adults, ages 21 and older. The start date for recreational sales was pushed from Oct. 1 to Dec. 1 during the legislative process. Thirty-three cannabis retailers will be allowed in Rhode Island.See the Story
