Cale Gundy, an assistant head coach for the Sooners, resigned after using offensive language during a film session last week. Former NFL running back Frank Gore was charged with simple assault this week stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident. The alleged incident occurred on July 31 in Atlantic City when police were called to the Tropicana Atlantic City at 8:11 a.m. regarding a reported domestic violence dispute.
