Birth Rates · NorwayThe number of births continues to increase in the first half of 2025. The largest increase is seen in Northern Norway, writes the Norwegian Institute of Public Health.
Preliminary figures show that 27,858 children were born in Norway during the first six months of this year. This is an increase in births of 1 percent compared to the first half of 2024.
