Superior, Wisconsin · SuperiorAMNICON TOWNSHIP — Two drivers were killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash on U.S. Highway 53 south of Superior Wednesday afternoon. A vehicle going northbound in the southbound lanes collided with a southbound vehicle around 2:10 p.m. between Berg Park Road and Kent Road, according to a news release from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
