Batemans Bay · Batemans BayA man will appear in court today charged following a pursuit with police in Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast overnight. About 10pm, Sunday 18 February, officers detected a Toyota hatchback speeding. The driver allegedly failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated, travelling along Glenella Road, south onto the Princes Highway. A short time later, the driver failed to negotiate a bend and the hatchback struck a metal barrier. The 30-year-old man tried to flee the scene, before he was arrested. He was charged with police pursuit-not stop-drive recklessly and hinder or resist officer in execution of duty.See the Story
