Health · AirdrieMike Loughman and friend Brodie Bennett-Aru are preparing to walk 320 kilometres from Edmonton to Airdrie later this month. The pair will be making the journey with a 5 lbs. ball and chain attached to one of their ankles, beginning in Edmonton on August 13. The journey, named Mike Marches Again for Mental Health, is an evolution of a similar challenge Lougman took on in 2017 when he walked from High Level to AIRDrie over 1021 kilometres. Lough man said he got the idea from a painting he saw in the past, and that it represents the challenges that people face living with mental health or addiction problems.See the Story
