Ziguinchor: 34 candidates for illegal emigration arrested by the Gendarmerie

An irregular emigration network was dismantled on Monday, 7 April 2025 by the national gendarmerie. Thirty-four people, 31 of them Senegalese from Sedhiou and 3 Gambian nationals, were arrested while attempting to leave the country by illegal means.
