Ukraine Will ‘Keep Working in Good Faith’ to Achieve Peace, Says Zelensky

On Saturday, Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, reported a phone update from US and Ukrainian officials and pledged to continue good-faith peace efforts.
Following Friday’s talks, both sides said any real progress depends on Russia’s readiness to show serious commitment to long-term peace.
Russia unleashed a barrage using 653 drones and 51 missiles, with Ukraine’s air force shooting down 585 drones and 30 missiles, damaging 29 locations, the attack triggered alerts across the country.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant lost all off-site power, Ukrenergo reported damage to energy infrastructure, and at least eight people were wounded including three in the Kyiv region.
Recovery efforts are now underway following last night’s strikes as drone sightings extended as far west as Lviv region, while Russia’s ministry of defence said it shot down 116 Ukrainian drones.
