A 52-year-old fisherman has died after being attacked by a crocodile while fleeing a herd of elephants in eastern Zambia, police say. Dean Nyirenda was returning from a fishing trip with two friends on Wednesday when they bumped into the elephants. The tragic event occurred in eastern Zambia recently when a hunter who was fleeing a herd of elephants with his friends ended up in the jaws of a crocodile.
Although he managed to free himself from the crocodile's mouth, his thigh was so badly injured that his life could not be saved.
