Zakopane defends fiaker. Councillors reject the idea of melexes on Krupówki

Zakopane councillors have opted to protect the tradition of the fiaker, rejecting a local entrepreneur's proposal to set up a stop for electric melexes. In their opinion, the carriages are a symbol of the capital of the Tatras and should remain, regardless of the fact that more and more tourists look with disapproval at highlanders offering horse-drawn carriage rides.
