Yuki Iwasaki of Kochihira Junior High School Takes the Top Prize in the Boys' 65kg Weightlifting Category at the National Junior High School Championships.

The 40th All-Japan Junior High School Boys' Weightlifting Championships were held on the 10th at the Namerikawa City General Gymnasium in Toyama Prefecture, and Takara Iwasaki (3rd year student at Kochihira High School) won the boys' 65kg class with a snatch of 73kg, a clean and jerk of 85kg, and a total of 158kg. Iwasaki said, "I was able to lift all six weightlifts cleanly."
