Yet another Tennessee Titans rookie is injured, out for ...
Marcus Harris, a sixth-round draft pick, started six games before a knee injury ended his season, joining multiple Titans defensive backs sidelined by injuries this year.
On Dec. 24, Tennessee Titans interim coach Mike McCoy ruled rookie cornerback Marcus Harris out for the season after a knee injury sustained Dec. 21 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Harris was injured early in the second quarter while tackling Isiah Pacheco at the end of a 5-yard run, amid Tennessee Titans secondary losses including three safeties on injured reserve and L'Jarius Sneed on IR since Oct. 23.
McCoy said 'It's tough', praising Marcus Harris's progress and adding rest will be prescribed with injury re-evaluation "as time goes on," with no immediate surgery needed.
The club's depth now relies on Darrell Baker Jr., Kaiir Elam, Jayln Armour-Davis and Micah Robinson plus practice-squad options Kemon Hall and Keydrain Calligan, with only Baker spending training camp with the Titans.
The Titans host the New Orleans Saints at Nissan Stadium on Dec. 28, with Harris joining fellow rookie Kevin Winston Jr. in season-ending injuries for the 3-12 team.
