WVDOH awards $993K contract to renovate Philippi Bypass Bridge

PHILIPPI, W.Va. (WBOY) — The West Virginia Division of Highways has awarded a contract to renovate the Philippi Bypass Bridge that carries US 250 across the Tygart Valley River and CSX Railroad in Philippi. The contract was awarded to Perk Company Inc. for $993,881.23 to rebuild the approach slabs on each end of the bridge, seal the existing concrete bridge deck and to apply a concrete protective coating to the bridge's barriers.
