The writer and poet Affonso Romano de Sant'Anna died today (4), at the age of 87, at home in the southern part of Rio de Janeiro, a victim of Alzheimer's disease. Mineiro de Belo Horizonte, born on March 27, 1937, published more than 60 books, in genres such as poetry and chronicle. He was also a columnist for Jornal do Brasil and Globo.
