- Adrien Forumaux initially topped the times but then dropped to fourth after a one minute penalty, leaving Martins Sesks to inherit the lead ahead of the final day's three stages.
- Facing the final stages, Ogier warned, `Tomorrow we'll have to cross our fingers to not have any more punctures`, urging caution to avoid risking the rally's outcome.
