Worcestershire residents asked to shape digital inclusion support
The survey asks residents about access, skills and online safety to identify where extra support is needed, officials said.
Worcestershire County Council and the Worcestershire Digital Inclusion Partnership launched the Digital Inclusion Survey, inviting all residents aged 18 and over to share their technology experiences regardless of internet usage frequency.
The Digital Inclusion Survey collects insights into technology experiences, covering internet and device access, mobile and broadband affordability, digital skills, accessibility needs, online safety, and public service usage.
Councillor Josh Robinson, cabinet member for Environment and Communities, said: "Digital technology can open up opportunities, improve access to services and help people stay connected." Officials aim to shape future support using resident voices.
Residents can complete the survey online at worcestershire.gov.uk/DigitalSurvey until October 31, while Paper copies become available October 9 at various locations with Staff assistance.
The project acknowledges that Older people and low-income households face higher digital exclusion risk; gathered data will identify where extra support is needed to help residents utilize Digital tools effectively.
