Women’s Wrestling Advances Five to Day Two at NCAA Region I Tournament

The New Jersey City University (NJCU) women's wrestling team had a strong showing on the opening day of the NCAA Women's Wrestling Region I Tournament, hosted by Elmira College on Saturday, February 21. Five Gothic Knights advanced to day two, highlighted by three wrestlers earning spots in third-place bouts and two set to compete for fifth place.

ELMIRA, N.Y. — The Norwich University women's wrestling team finished eighth out of 17 teams in their first-ever NCAA Northeast (Region I) Championships, hosted by Elmira College, highlighted by fourth-place finishes from Addisyn Herdic (Canterbury, Conn.) (117) and Ay'Seante Ross (Wilmington, N.C.) (180).
