Agents from the Puerto Rico Police Bureau are conducting a preliminary investigation into a drowning incident reported this Tuesday afternoon in the Las Pailas River, located on PR-983 in the municipality of Luquillo.
The woman is believed to have died after being caught in a flash flood that hit the body of water during yesterday's downpours.
