SANTA MARIA, Calif. – The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that happened Friday morning just before 11:00 a.m. at the 1700 block of Rio Vista. A 44-year-old woman has died and a man has been arrested after a stabbing Friday night in Santa Maria.  At approximately 10:50 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the 1700 block of Rio Vista for a report of a possible stabbing, Lt.
