ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FLORIDA, JUL 15 – Theodore Michael Tundidor, 31, faces multiple felony charges after a high-speed chase following an attempted kidnapping and robbery thwarted by the victim and a bystander, officials said.
- On Sunday, June 29, 2025, Theodore Michael Tundidor attempted to force a female employee into his pickup truck at 1054 SR 206 East, after robbing the business, deputies said.
- He attempted abduction after robbing the store, deputies said, and a 911 call at 3:30 p.m. triggered their response.
- A bystander intervened after the woman fought off her attacker, and Florida Fish and Wildlife officers located and arrested the suspect near Marineland.
- SJSO detectives charged Tundidor with kidnapping, robbery and grand theft auto, while Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission filed additional charges for DUI and fleeing and eluding.
