A motorcyclist was flown to a hospital by medical helicopter Wednesday evening following a hit-and-run crash on Route 1 in Peabody, according to Massachusetts State Police. Troopers responded to the crash shortly before 8 p.m. and found that a 30-year-old woman had been struck by a car while riding a motorcycle, State Police said. The woman was seriously injured, and a medical helicopter brought her to a Boston hospital.
