The Banneux district in Hasselt was once again entirely dedicated to witches today. For the second time since the revival, the Witches' Parade wound through the district. The tradition dates back to 1974 and serves primarily to keep the Hasselt folk tale and heritage of Alfons Jeurissen alive.
