Val da Isère has just made formal commitments with the organizing committee of the French Alps to be a site of the 2030 Olympic Winter Games. A "letter of intent" was adopted by the city council on Monday, May 4th, to the extent that the downstream station places itself strongly in relation to Meribel.
The new mayor Xavier Mattis reaffirmed, on Monday in the city council, the willingness to host the Alpine ski technical events and obtained the green light for a "joint letter of intent" with the COJOP Alpes 2030.
