Wild’s Bill Guerin honored as NHL’s top general manager
Bill Guerin was named the recipient of the Jim Gregory Award, honoring the NHL's top general manager, as announced by NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.
During the 2025-26 season, Guerin made key acquisitions including Quinn Hughes and others, leading the Wild to their first playoff series win in over ten years.
He signed Kirill Kaprizov to the richest NHL contract ever and acquired Vladimir Tarasenko.
Guerin also led the United States Olympic men's hockey team to a gold medal and was celebrated with a surprise trophy presentation by his family.
