LINCOLN COUNTY, N.M. – Highway 70 is back open after a wildfire at Apache Summit closed the road in both directions on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. Mescalero Apache Fire Rescue said Monday afternoon that the fire has been lined with bulldozer and hand lines allowing the highway to reopen.
