Wilbert Marshall re-elected as chief of Potlotek

Potlotek’s Wilbert Marshall has once again been elected chief of the band council of the Cape Breton First Nation.

Potlotek First Nation Members return Wilbert Marshall as Chief and Four Incumbents to Council in Elections

Wilbert Marshall has been re-elected as Chief of the Potlotek First Nation. Marshall beat out four other challengers in the election held earlier this week. Members of the community also chose eight members of council  Four were re-elected; Tyrone Bernard, Isiah Bernard, Mary Lee Johnson and Mary Susan Lafford. Newly elected council members are Jimmy Marshall, Patrick Isaac, Brian Johnson and Jeremy Basque.
