A 37-year-old man allegedly stabbed his wife to death following a marital dispute before throwing his 10-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son into a pond in Indore. The son survived by swimming ashore and alerted police. The daughter’s body was later recovered, while police arrested the accused and launched an investigation.
Late Monday night (August 17) in Kanadiya, Indore, a man strangled his wife to death. Sunil, son of Ramavtar Chauhan (37), a driver from Jhalaria village, killed his wife, Anita Bai (32). The accused then took their two children, Mahi (10) and Ajay (8), to a pond near Hingonia village and threw them there. Ajay managed to escape and alerted a passing Kanadiya FRV team.
