A husband allegedly killed his wife after a quarrel over dinner on Wednesday night. The argument began when the wife asked him to serve his own food. He then allegedly grabbed her neck and punched her repeatedly during the altercation. After her condition worsened, he took her to the hospital where she was declared dead. Police arrested Krishnakant Yadav after an autopsy revealed strangulation as the cause of death.
Police said his wife told her to go to dance class without food and the ensuing dispute resulted in pressure and murder. When the husband came home after work, he asked his wife to make food. He came home drunk. This time Yamini was preparing to go to dance class.
