‘Widow’s Bay’ breaks Emmys record with 14 wins
LOS ANGELES — A “Widow’s Bay” wave slammed into the Emmy Awards on Monday night as the Apple TV show set a single-season record for a comedy with 14 wins, including best comedy series and best actor for star Matthew…
14 out of 19 Emmys, for whom »Widows Bay« was nominated, won the production as well – not only a record for a comedy series, but also in the history of the Emmys at all.
The series starring Matthew Rhys snatched the glory from Hacks and took over a record that belonged to El Estudio.
