Wiarton's last remaining gas station set to close in December

Employees at the last remaining gas station in the town of Wiarton will be out of a job before Christmas this year. An employee at the Petro-Canada gas station at 490 Berford St. in Wiarton posted a "Notice of Termination" to Facebook Friday morning in which the site operator Faheem Tahir explained Petro-Canada is divesting the site as of Dec. 13.
