Lawyers for murder suspect Talyn Vigil in the Preston Lord case attempted on Friday to have the charges dismissed, claiming their client wasn't present during the 2023 incident in Queen Creek. The defense had a video that had a witness saying Vigil wasn't there. Prosecutors maintain he was there and claim they have evidence that shows he delivered devastating blows to Lord.
