When at the beginning of 2016 the general public learned that his name is on the list of the most influential scientific minds in the world, mathematician Stojan Radenovic, at that time a retired professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, did not even dream that eight years later as the oldest MP he would preside over the constituent session of the new convocation of the republican parliament.
The constituent session of the National Assembly was chaired by Professor Stojan Radenovic as the oldest MP in the fourteenth parliamentary term since 1990, and the celebrated mathematician, born almost 76 years ago in Dobroja Voda near Bojnik, won a second consecutive parliamentary term as a candidate of the same party — the Serbian Progressive Party.
