Report: Cards finalizing trade of WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
Arizona is seeking at least a second-round pick as Harrison, who has five catches this season, is expected to sit out Sunday’s game.
- On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Arizona Cardinals finalized a trade for wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions as details are completed.
- Selected fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, Harrison struggled to fulfill expectations during three seasons in Arizona, recording just five receptions for 85 yards this season.
- Reports indicate Arizona sought at least a second-round pick in return for the 24-year-old receiver, with speculation intensifying after Harrison hired agents Todd France and Tory Dandy on September 23.
- While the acquiring team remains undisclosed, reports link the Houston Texans given Harrison's history with quarterback C.J. Stroud, though teams involved reportedly "prefer the trade destination is NOT announced" until after Sunday's games.
- Arizona feels comfortable moving forward with offers received, turning the page on the partnership, while the acquiring club gains a receiver with a team option for 2028, provided they pick up the fifth-year option after the 2026 season.
