- Target introduced this trade-in program in April 2016 to promote sustainability. Since then, the retailer has helped recycle over 3 million car seats, turning them into select Brightroom products.
- Customers must trade in car seats at a Target store, where drop-off boxes are located near Guest Services. The 20% bonus is applied through the free Target Circle loyalty program.
- The coupon applies to purchases made through May 2, 2026, and is redeemable twice on car seats, strollers, and select baby home gear. Exclusions include Wonderfold and Doona.
