WASHINGTON, D.C. (NewsDakota.com) – The end to daylight saving time is Sunday, meaning clocks in most parts of the U.S. will “fall back” one hour on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. The switch happens at 2 a.m. local time. So, at 1:59:59 a.m. on Nov. 2, your digital clocks, like the one on your cellphone, will fall back to 1 a.m. You will need to reset your analog clocks and any clocks that do not automatically adjust.
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, Texas will make the official adjustment to standard time (Standard Time): at 2:00 a.m. CT, all watches will have to go back one hour, remaining at 1:00 a.m., according to federal regulations (UTC-6 in central zone and UTC-7 in the west).
