Here's When You Can Play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake in Your Time Zone
Nintendo says the Switch 2 remake will unlock at midnight in each region’s easternmost time zone, with some retailers still offering pre-order bonuses.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026, at midnight local time globally.
Featuring a massive visual overhaul and quality-of-life improvements absent from the original N64 release, the remake requires 24.5 GB of storage space on Switch 2 consoles.
Widely considered among the best games ever made, the original holds a 99 rating on Metacritic. Nintendo positioned the remake's November release to compete with major holiday titles.
Retailers are hosting midnight launch events, including an evening celebration at Argos on Tottenham Court Road in London on Wednesday. Nintendo also holds in-store events at Nintendo San Francisco and Nintendo New York.
Players can access the game early by linking a Nintendo Account to another region like New Zealand, enabling North American users to play starting at 9 p.m. PST on November 4.
