Wetherspoons to axe 12 items from all pub menus in just days - see the full list
- JD Wetherspoon will remove 12 items from all its UK pubs menus in the coming days as the festive menu ends on December 31.
- Launched on November 12, the festive menu has been available in more than 800 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK.
- Among the items being axed are sliced turkey breast and winter vegetables, The Big Cheese burger, festive loaded chips, cookies and cream blondie, and a giant profiterole.
- Earlier this year, Wetherspoon permanently removed steaks, mixed grills and gammon on May 14, and the chain did not reveal why some items, including its £6.49 chicken bites, were temporarily unavailable.
- The January sale runs from January 2 to January 15, with more than 600 Wetherspoon pubs offering 99p drinks, Johnnie Walker Black Label , Tanqueray gin , and Coldwater Creek wine .
