PLAINFIELD – In Australian balloting, 406 (40.5%) of Plainfield’s 1,002 registered voters cast ballots last Tuesday, with 40 by absentee ballot. Both bond items passed as voters approved one for no more than $700,000 to replace the water line under School Street on a vote of 285 to 74.
