Kennedy Wesley scored off Kenza Dali’s free kick in stoppage time and the San Diego Wave defeated the Kansas City Current 2-0 in the National Women’s Soccer League. The victory extended the Wave’s unbeaten streak at Snapdragon Stadium to five games. The Wave went ahead on an own goal in the 50th minute before Wesley headed home a free kick by Dali to double San Diego’s lead a minute into stoppage time.
