Among the novelties is the introduction of a new model for treating metastatic prostate cancer. For the first time in Croatia, a drug used to treat this disease has been included on the Basic List of Medicines.
TPO - The Ministry of Health announced that it is reviewing and revising the list of drugs covered by the Health Insurance Fund, with plans to expand coverage at primary healthcare facilities for 349 drugs. Several new-generation cancer drugs, biological drugs, and immunotherapy drugs are also being considered for inclusion.
