A dozen flights were delayed this morning, or even cancelled in some cases, at the Ottawa airport due to the weather of the last hours. Flights mainly for Canadian destinations that were scheduled to depart between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Monday morning were delayed by a few hours to allow the crews to defrost the aircraft. The consequences could have been more serious since Environment Canada announced 15-20 mm of freezing rain from Sunday to Monday…
