For the very first time, the Vuelta, the Tour d'Espagne cyclist, landed in the French Alps for its fourth stage this Tuesday, part of Italy. And it was Vuelta who welcomed the final in an atmosphere worthy of a (small) Tour de France. A pride for the city and the inhabitants of the region, who came in numbers.
To celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Vuelta slendered from Italy and passed through France on Tuesday to honour the three Grand Tours of cycling.
Voiron is the finish village of the 4th stage of La Vuelta this year. Cycling riders must arrive on the 4:30 p.m. shots.
