One of Hungary's most important industrial companies, Audi Hungaria, would freeze wages and cut other benefits – this is how the 2026 wage bargain began in Győr at the beginning of February. The Audi Hungaria Independent Trade Union (AHFSZ), which sits on the other side of the negotiating table, does not accept the offer. AHFSZ President Dávid Zsidi gave an interview to Telex.
The Audi Hungaria trade union is starting wage negotiations with a new strategy, while also having to deal with the shadow of the past and the challenges of the automotive industry transformation. Dávid Zsidi, president of the AHFSZ, said that although the parties' positions are far from each other, they have time until the end of March to reach an agreement, Telex reported.
The Audi Hungaria Independent Trade Union (AHFSZ) firmly rejects the company's zero percent wage increase offer and the cutting of benefits. AHFSZ President Dávid Zsidi detailed the union's position and negotiation strategy in an interview with Telex.
