MMSD Warns of Potential Program Impacts if Federal Funds Remain Withheld

MADISON METROPOLITAN SCHOOL DISTRICT AREA, JUL 10 – Despite a 45% increase in special education funding, MMSD faces a $64 million shortfall due to a $12 million drop in general aid and withheld federal grants, officials said.
