“We receive notifications from the cameras when cars that do not have the papers in order pass by,” says Kristian Kvammen from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration held a major inspection on the E18 on Thursday, and together with the police carried out over 800 inspections.

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration uncovered several serious violations during an extensive inspection at the Romsdalen control station on May 7 and 8.

UP is currently carrying out major vehicle checks on the E18 at Trolldalen. Office manager Jostein Senumsland informs that it is primarily passenger cars that are being checked.
