- Collaborating with producer Natalie Viscuso, Cavill tapped writer Mike Flanagan, who has completed "initial outlines" and "should soon be moving on to script."
- Separately, Cavill is executive-producing an animated series with director Dave Wilson, writer John Orloff, and Blur Studio, which will "devote a whole season to Warhammer 40,000."
- United Artists has joined the production alongside Amazon MGM and Games Workshop, with Cavill citing his positive experience with them on Highlander.
