Ward 7 Coun. Lawrence: Democracy doesn’t end at the ballot box

Thank you to everyone who voted in this municipal election. It was encouraging to see residents take the time to participate, even as the process required patience this year. Turnout this election was about 26 per cent, which means three out of four eligible voters did not cast a ballot.
