  • U.S. Customs and Border Protection detected Cs-137 in containers at the ports of Los Angeles, Houston, Savannah and Miami, prompting import restrictions on PT. Bahari Makmur Sejati of Indonesia.
  • The recalled products are two-pound Great Value brand Frozen Raw Ez Peel Tail-On Farm-Raised White Vannamei Shrimp bags sold in Walmart stores across 13 states including Alabama, Florida, and Texas.
  • The FDA advised consumers who purchased affected shrimp to discard or return them for a refund, warning long-term low-dose Cs-137 exposure may increase cancer risk.
