WAIKOLOA BEACH MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA UNVEILS A STRIKING GUESTROOM RENOVATION

Yesterday, Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa announced it completed a full renovation of all 297 guestrooms and suites, reimagining them for a Hawaii Island experience.
To redefine the resort as the Kohala Coast's heartbeat, designers blended heritage and contemporary elements, with the renovation finished in March 2026 and honoring Hawaii Island's raw beauty.
Design details include custom-crafted shoji screens honoring Pili grass, coastal hues, and organic textures, while the resort pairs redesigned guestrooms with three pools and dining by Executive Chef Jayson Kanekoa.
The resort expects the refreshed guestrooms to enhance its appeal along Anaehoʻomalu Bay, positioning itself as the vibrant heartbeat of the Kohala Coast, according to the resort.
Guests can book via the Marriott booking site to experience renovated rooms that connect visitors with snorkeling, paddleboarding, kite surfing, and beach and pool amenities, the resort said.
